I’ll conduct a productivity audit to understand Council’s opportunities, leverage my business skills for positive change, and avoid past mistakes.
I’ll also expand Council’s integrity unit for improved ethical standards over and above the current minimum legislative requirements to impact real change, and improve Council’s reputation at home and around Australia.
When voted in, I’ll support my elected colleagues to create a cohesive, informed and collaborative team for fact based decisions that have real benefits.

Cities across the world are rethinking their transport opportunities to encourage people to choose options that are better for the environment and better for themselves.
Traffic is not fun, and we can adopt proven ideas, or utilise them as a stepping stone for solutions that suit the Gold Coast.
Liveability is also about loving your street and being proud of your city.
I want you to have confidence in a Council that is focussed on doing its job to manage your streets, footpaths, parks and beaches, and is spending your money wisely.

We need to preserve our history, get to zero for tomorrow plus adapt to today’s urgent needs.
Let’s step up to understand our contribution to global warming, the impact of which the Gold Coast will be feeling more and more.
As your mayor, I’ll reinstate Council’s climate change unit, collaborate with my elected colleagues for opportunities to change, and support residents and business to transition for a stronger future.
We’ll also arm Council’s water and waste management teams with world class solutions and adopt new technology that will lead us into a more resilient future. Not sexy, but important.
We can show the world what good change looks like.
